Unlock a Comfortable Way to Sell

Why I’m a sales coach…..

I never wanted to be a salesperson.

I wanted to be an actor in my 20’s. I even booked a national McDonald’s commercial in Los Angeles. In my early 30’s, I worked hard for success in the radio business and was proud to be the most listened to Morning Show personality in Tallahassee, FL.

The probability of success was low when I decided to take a leap of faith and move into commission sales after I had my first child. I wanted the freedom and financial security that a career in advertising sales offered but….

I wasn’t motivated by money and I had no experience in sales.

Turns out, my preconceived ideas about sales and sales people were all wrong. Once I was willing to change my mindset and learn to focus on a few simple activities every day, I was on the way to making all of my professional dreams come true!

I was tired of corporate chaos and sales managers who had no idea how to support me.

Most sales training is designed for men, by men. I was once told that I should “act blonde” or “play dumb” to build rapport with prospects. I respectfully knew better. Today corporate sales managers typically have never had a job in sales. Management function is to push data up the corporate chain. They are not skilled at helping a sales person succeed. I’ve been given rigid scripts and told to making 100 calls a day. These tasks supply data, but they do not increase revenue. Consultative selling and relationship building is how I built a very lucrative and award winning sales career. I’d like to help people build skills that will last beyond the job they currently have.

I created and am evolving my coaching practice as an alternative to the uncertainty many have about their #1 key to success in life- which is helping more people and making a living too.
